Mbeki said that the leaders have a lot to learn from Obasanjo, particularly his presidential library which they can replicate for the benefits of their countries.
The ex-President, who on Sunday visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital at the Legacy Resort Centre, within Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, stated that he never knew that the presidential library was massive and rich in content.
Mbeki said that the library was significant as it will always tell important stories and as a need for the youths for their positive benefits.
He stated the significant roles of Obasanjo in Africa and the world and stressed the need to support the library regarding its maintenance.
The ex-President was thereafter conducted round the multi-billion naira presidential library during which he visited, among others, the wildlife park, youth centre, amphitheater, artifacts sections and the main library complex.
He also visited the replica of the prison where Obasanjo was kept while serving jail sentence over a phantom coup during the reign of the late Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha.
